A skinny, scrawny son of Fiona, with unkempt red hair and bad acne. He speaks little of himself, except that he is being taught all of his mother's secrets.

A daughter of Caine, she's a very free spirited and early blooming girl. She has dark chestnut hair in heavy curls and olive skin, which gives her a sultry Mediterranean look. She's spent most of her life out traveling in shadow with her father, and is now deposited in Amber to prepare for her walk on the Pattern. She's always on the lookout to do something new in Amber, and is very open with her "friendly" charms with her cousins.

Auburn haired and cream skinned, she was a living flame, earning quickly the reputation that Vic would soon inherit: Loved, lively, popular. If there was a party in Amber, she knew about it, and was on the guest list. She was sixteen when she came to Amber from the Golden Circle, claiming to be the daughter of Eric. Most of the other children of Amber were 10 at the oldest. She spent a year in the city, having fun, exploring, and getting into trouble. While some point to Bleys as Vic's inspiration, those that know Vic better are acquainted with the amount of time Vic spent with Irene and have a better idea what his mentor was like.

After her first year in Amber, Irene snuck down to the chamber of the Pattern to prove her heritage. The guards caught up with her in time to see her immolated by the Pattern. It's uncertain whether she died because she wasn't really Eric's daughter or if she just wasn't ready for the ordeal.

A young man after the image of his father, Benedict. He has been trained to be his father's shadow in many aspects. The eldest of all of his cousins, he prefers to stay out of the social interactions of his peers.

Daughter of Llewella, with dark green hair and eyes of crystal blue. She is a proper lady raised well in courtly manners, and is destined to be an outstanding lady of Amber, and Rebma. Because of this, she is shy in more casual encounters with her siblings. Currently she resides in the infirmary — in and out of a strange coma, nearly victim to rape from a Amber noble.
