Session 8 Quotes From This Session Egon finds himself in trump limbo with a strange roommate. Strange things were seen in Tir-na Nog'th, including strange lights, sorcerous battles, and a dragon was seen flying over Castle Amber. Funeral planned for Lamianna. Martin, in Rimmer-esque fashion, suspects Chaos for everything. (Oh god, Chaos? Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is Chaos, isn't it? You lose your keys -- it's Chaos. A picture falls off the wall -- it's Chaos. That time we used up a whole bog roll in a day -- you thought that was Chaos as well.) Aramis and Harlok are summoned to the war council. Martin reveals that he discovered the little implant in his cyber socket, and charges Aramis to find who was behind it. Most of the family is brought together, the notable exceptions being Caine, Corwin, Benedict, and Fiona. Martin unveils his plans to wage war on Chaos, and whips out his secret weapon: Ghostwheel. Ghostwheel aids Aramis in summoning Egon, so that he may examine Lamianna's body to determine the cause of death. Ghostwheel summons Benedict, Lamianna, and Fiona. Lamianna and Fiona trump out right away. Fiona and Lamianna are brought back again, only this time Lamianna looks like she's been beat to a bloody pulp. Fiona proposes that Martin is incapable of being regent, and proposes Gerard instead. Julian proposes Flora for regent. There's a tense moment while everyone chooses sides. Gerard turns into a writhing beast of Chaos. Martin proves that he's quite, QUITE mad. Harlok proceeds to get quite, QUITE drunk. Pete teleports out. (?!?!?!?!?) Fiona opens a shadow gate and half the group flees. Everyone else trumps out. Egon asks Fiona what she knows about Arawn. Fiona drops the glass she was holding. Aramis and Egon offer to exchange information with Bleys, Fiona, and Benedict. Bleys and Fiona offer to mind rape Aramis and Egon, take the information, and erase all memory. Aramis and Egon go into Brown Alert. Benedict interposes himself between Bleys and Fiona, allowing them time to trump out. Egon explains to Aramis where he's been, as well as a Mad Scheme(tm). Aramis trumps in Pete and Lamianna to help with the Mad Scheme(tm), who agree gleefully. Or, at least Lamianna does. Pete's just there for the hell of it. The group sets about the end of reality, changing the course of the game, just for shits and giggles.
