Pete informs Flora that Egon, despite appearances, still has the hots for her. Flora promptly trumps Egon and asks about Egon taking care of that Martin situation. Egon trumps Caine, explains his hare-brained scheme, and gets a trump for Mandor. Egon trumps Mandor, and has tea with him and Raphael. Corinth enters the campaign by trumping Egon and joining the group for tea. Egon inquires as to the feasibility of healing a stewified Merlin. Egon mentions Arawn (of the flexibly spelled name), and makes an ass out of himself trying to contact him. Meanwhile, in Amber, Noel is introduced into the campaign when she trumps into Amber using some sort of watch. She's apparently from a high-tech shadow, and carries a gun. Noel has the honor of meeting the cream of Amber society, and Flora, while they are eating breakfast. Flora suggests that Noel may be a child of Amber, and takes her, down to the Pattern, as well as the rest of the Breakfast Club: Harlok and Pete. In the process, we all learn that Noel is a warfare goddess. Harlok examines Noel's gun, and discovers, much to everyone's shock and terror, that it works in Amber.
