They get there to find the stairway guarded by Amber's troops. The thought finally occurs to them to trump Llewella. Llewella is in Amber, however. Group trumps through and chats with her, and ask where Merlin's remains are at. Egon and Aramis flounder when asked why, but are assured he's quite dead. Egon, Aramis, and Pete are given a tour of Rebma. Meanwhile, in Orlean, Harlok is sporting the ever trendy British look, complete with wig. Char has been transformed by local shadow laws into a parrot. "Char want a chicken-in-a-bisket?" Lamianna trumps through to Rebma. Egon receives a trump call from Flora inviting him to a picnic. Egon tries to get a set of trumps out of Ghostwheel, but instead gets a set of trump connections. Giving those contacted a nice look at who Egon is, as well as anyone standing near him. Egon tries to get Ghostwheel to determine the location of Merlin, and fails. Egon stumbles across a copy of "Whack the Weasel", with real weasels. Harlok manages to get top score. Pete tries to load up Ghostwheel's processor time. Harlok revokes Pete's Ghostwheel privileges. Pete knocks Harlok out. Egon tries to get Ghostwheel to open a trump connection to processor locations, only to find pits of flames. Ghostwheel calculates survival rate as pretty damn low. Egon tells Ghostwheel to close all trump connections. Group finds it's incapable of opening a new trump connection to Ghostwheel, as Ghostwheel as closed all trump connections.
