Sunday, May 28

Play was at Andy and Charon's apartment, after a fine meal at a Mexican restaurant. This session covered, basically, the end of Sunday and the following Monday.

Homework was finished up on Sunday. The only notable thing being that Vic talked one of Alia's maids into messing up the bed and leaving a note there. You can guess what the note said.

The next day, everyone arrived at class. Vic, having done strawberries to death the week before, brought flowers for Madame Fayla. Madame Fayla collected the homework and announced she'd be taking a few days to grade the assignments. In the meantime, Princess Fiona would be substitute teaching for the class.

Fiona arrived and announced... a field trip!

To Rebma no less.

We left right then.

On the way to the Faiella Bionin, Fiona carried on a discussion about the Pattern. This ended just as we reached the stairs and began descending. It was discovered that most of the women weren't dressed exactly appropriate for underwater activities. Of course, Erika's thin white blouse was a hit, but Vic assured Alia that she wasn't chopped liver either. ;)

Cyrus, the chivalrous among us gave Alia her cloak. Vic, in an attempt to try and look good too, offered Erika his cloak as well. Despite his attempts to explain things, Erika didn't seem to get what the problem was.

After a brief visit to a modestly dressed Queen Moire, the clubhouse gang went down the big stairs to the Pattern. The women went first, to avoid any Animal House antics involving their dresses. Vic tried to give Benjamin a send off down the stairs before the women so he could get a decent view, but discovered that Benjamin couldn't swim, but was quite proficient at sinking like a rock.

The group finally makes it down to the bottom of the stairs (with Sammuel's Gabriel on the verge of full tilt freaking out), and they enter the chamber of the Pattern. Fiona apparently has a little niche that is Fiona-sized for her sitting convenience. Vic and Erika linger back, apparently a little leery of the Pattern. Everyone else has a suspicious interest in looming close to the Pattern.

The gang heads back up the stairs for lunch, and Moire is now in more "traditional" Rebman attire. Moire's rather young granddaughters, Adrienne and Carmichael (about the same age as the Clubhouse Gang), arrive, also dressed in Rebman attire. After lunch the granddaughters offer to show the Gang the neat places in Rebma, including the "open air" bazaar, and a nice but seedy little tavern. Aside from Kevin spending a ton of money on Erika, and a bit of extra attention from Adrienne and Carmichael towards Cyrus and Sammuel respectively, not much of note happens.

Everyone else turns in later that night, though Vic and Alia (the sword geeks), spend some time practicing swordfighting underwater.
